World Centric is proud to offer three lines of  compostable hot paper cups, as well as CPLA lids in two sizes. Each is lined with NatureWorks Ingeo™, which is derived from plants grown in the USA. Most cups you'll find on the market are lined with polyethylene and won't compost whereas World Centric cups will compost and are also heat resistant up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Cafes, restaurants and cafeterias require paper products for their look, printability and general customer acceptance. Technologically, it's difficult to make something similar to paper cups from alternative fibers. We are still researching to see if paper cups and bowls can be made from a mix of alternative fibers, recycled fibers and responsibly managed wood/paper fibers to create a more sustainable product. In the meantime we carry lines that have improved on the stand paper cup.

Our traditional white paper cup line is achieved using Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) paper, paper bleached without using elemental chlorine. We are proud to offer this line in FSC® Certified paper as it helps reinforce our commitment to responsible forestry.

The cups in our kraft paper cup line undergo no additional bleaching process and are the natural brown color of the paper itself. 

Our newer double walled cup line reduces the need for a paper cup sleeve. These double walled cups are also made with Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) paper.
